The IRB 1200 family of robots comes in two variants, suitable for a wide range of applications. Both variants can be mounted at any angle and come with options such as Food Grade Lubrication, SafeMove2, Foundry Plus 2, and Clean Room protection. The 700 mm reach variant has a maximum payload of 7 kg, while the 900 mm reach variant can carry up to 5 kg.
The IRB 1200 with SafeMove2 is the smallest ABB robot equipped with advanced safety-certified monitoring software, which allows the robot and operators to work more closely together by restricting robot movement to the exact necessary range for specific applications.
The compact design of the IRB 1200 allows it to be easily installed in small workstations for applications such as electronics machining and polishing, even when mounted on the ceiling of the workspace.
The Food Grade Lubrication (NSF H1) option includes Clean Room ISO Class 3 and IP67 protection ratings, ensuring safety and hygiene in food and beverage applications. The Clean Room ISO Class 3 design prevents contamination risks in food handling areas.
